Can I add more than one product to my Declaration? Can multiple products be added to my Declaration?

A: Members can add multiple products to the same Declaration at any time at no cost as long as they are incorporating the same Bluetooth Qualified Design (QDIDs) and the Bluetooth Specification has not been withdrawn.

Can I add additional products to an existing Declaration that implements a deprecated or withdrawn specification?

A: Products can be added to Declarations that implement one or more Deprecated specifications. Creating Subsets will not be permitted for Declarations that implement Deprecated specifications. How do I add additional products to my existing Declaration?

A: To add a product to an existing and non-withdrawn Declaration you will need to follow these steps: Adding a Product

How should the Product Name be filled out?

A: The Product Name should be the same as how the product is being sold, marketed, and packaged. The product name will need to include the company's trademark. If the same product has different names in different regions the member will also need to add the products in the database. To learn more, see Product Name and Model Requirements.

Do I need to add each color variant of the same product?

A: If the different color variation has been incorporated in the product name and this is being printed on the packaging, then the product color variation will need to be added to the Declaration. If the color variation affects the model number a new product list entry must be completed.

What should I put in the model number? What is a model number?

A: If the Model Number is being printed on the package, product or is visible to the consumer, the member must add all the model numbers individually to the Declaration exactly as is being displayed to the consumer. If the model number is not visible to the consumer, the members can use any non-placeholder in this field. You can find more information here: Product Name and Model Number Requirements.

Can I use placeholders?

A: No, placeholders are considered a violation and subject to enforcement actions.

How many model numbers can I add to a single product list entry?

A: Each product should be listed individually with a single model number. Indicating multiple model numbers and/or adding placeholders in a Product List entry is considered a violation and will be subject to enforcement actions.

My product does not have a model number, what should I add?

A: If the product does not have a model number or is not visible to the consumer, members can use any non-placeholder in this field. Using placeholders and/or adding multiple model numbers in a single Product List entry in a Declaration is considered a violation and subject to enforcement actions.
