Qualifying with a Subsystem or End Product implementing Deprecated or Withdrawn Specifications (other than the Core)

Deprecated and withdrawn specifications are no longer maintained by the Bluetooth SIG. Previously qualified products that use one or more deprecated specifications can be referred to or used by Members that complete new qualifications/declarations, as long as the prior qualification is not modified. Please learn more here.

Members may continue to reference Subsystems or End Products that contain one or more deprecated specification versions to complete qualification as long as no modifications are made to qualify the product. Creating new subsets is not permitted if your qualification incorporates a specification impacted by deprecation or withdrawal.

Specifications withdrawn by the Bluetooth SIG are not maintained and will no longer be available for download on the Bluetooth® public website. Members are not permitted to complete qualifications/declarations for any product using those withdrawn specifications.

Members wishing to update existing products to incorporate active specifications should work with their supplier to determine the available options.
