Qualification Process with No Required Testing
The Project Basics page only requires input values for two fields for the Qualification Process with No Required Testing path.
- Enter a Project Name.
- Enter the existing unique Qualified Design ID (QDID)
- Type the four or five-digit QDID; the field will begin providing search results. Select the correct QDID when it appears.
- To add another Bluetooth® qualified design to the new product, add the additional QDID(s) in the same field.
Use the Search Listings link to look up an existing Qualified Design ID (QDID).
Once these two fields are completed, there are two options to save and continue. At the bottom of the screen, the Save and Continue to Product Declaration button, or at the top of the screen, the Product Declaration tab in the workflow.
Qualification Process with Required Testing
For the Qualification Process with Required Testing path, the Project Basics page requests basic identifying information about the project.
- Enter a Project Name.
- If using an existing, qualified Bluetooth Component (Tested) product type with the new product, enter the Component's Qualified Design ID (or QDID) in the Previously Qualified Design Used in this Qualification field. (Note: If you are using an End Product or Subsystem product type in your design, you will be able to reference its QDID on the Product Declaration page.)
- Type the Component's four or five-digit QDID; the field will begin providing search results. Select the correct QDID when it appears.
- To add another Bluetooth® qualified design to the new product, add the additional QDID(s) in the same field.
- Select the version of the Test Case Reference List (TCRL) against which to test the product
- Select a Product Type. If applicable, select a core configuration for the controller or host.
Once these two fields are completed, there are two options to save and continue. At the bottom of the screen, the Save and Continue to Layer Selection button, or at the top of the screen, in the workflow, the Layer Selection tab.
