Can Bluetooth Profile Tuning Suite (PTS) support 5.0 or 5.1?

The PTS dual-mode dongle only supports up to Core Spec v4.2. Availability of Core Spec v5.0 support is dependent on 3rd party vendors who provide Bluetooth SIG with the chip-set. Due to this dependency, we cannot provide a timeline for Core Spec v5.0 support.

To qualify Core Spec v5.0 and beyond BR/EDR and AoA/AoD designs, you will need to use an over-the-air analyzer to capture packets and submit this evidence when qualifying the device. Other options are to use your own custom test harness to capture evidence or use a consultant.

Please note that all features up to Core v4.2 can be tested with PTS and only Core Specification v5.0 and beyond BR/EDR and AoA/AoD features would require these alternative methods.
