If you participate in any meeting of the Bluetooth SIG members where inappropriate topics are discussed, you must formally object. This includes any conversations that appear to be out of compliance with all applicable laws and Bluetooth SIG policies, including the General Rules Regarding Antitrust Compliance, Confidentiality Policy, and Code of Conduct.
To Formally Object:
- During the meeting, share your concern that the discussion may be a violation of Bluetooth SIG policies with all in attendance and request that further discussion of the matter should stop pending guidance from the Bluetooth SIG’s legal counsel.
- After the meeting, submit a support request to the Bluetooth SIG and describe the incident (date, Working Group or Committee, attendees, and policy violation) so that any necessary follow-up can be taken by the Bluetooth SIG leadership.
This KBA is intended to provide Bluetooth SIG members with helpful information and address frequently asked questions. Governing documents, membership agreements, policies, and other Bluetooth SIG rules and guidelines can be found here.
