      Ellisys Analysis Software - Installing the Remote Control Plugin

      Using Ellisys Bluetooth Analyzer Software with PTS requires PTS 8.5.1 or later.

      Note: You must install Ellisys analysis software before installing the remote control plugin. Download Ellisys Bluetooth Analyzer here: https://www.ellisys.com/products/bv1/download.php

      To install the plugin:

      1. Download the plugin https://ellisys.com/better_analysis/bta_remote_api.zip
      2. Copy the Binaries\Remote Control folder and its content from the unzipped folder to the installation directory, typically C:\Program Files (x86)\Ellisys\...Analyzer\RemoteControl

      Please note that Windows tends to block files downloaded from the Internet. Please make sure to unblock the files in the Properties as follows:

      Starting Bluetooth Packet Analyzer

      Once it has been properly installed, the Bluetooth Packet Analyzer will start automatically with PTS. If you have multiple instances of PTS running on a single computer, only the first instance launched will connect to the Bluetooth Packet Analyzer.

      To select Bluetooth Packet Analyzer

      Go to File > Application Settings > Sniffer and select the packet analyzer that you have installed.
